Lovely gardens, the butterfly house is definitely my favorite. So many blooming flowers and butterflies floating around. It's purely magical. The staff was wonderful!

What a quaint quiet place to stop if you're passing through Dothan to the beaches. The staff were super nice and informative. The grounds well maintained. It is appropriate for all ages with activities for the little ones to stay engaged. We took about 40 minutes to walk around the whole garden and the butterfly exhibit.

This place is special. Very nice experience. The butterfly house was the best! A huge shout out to the butterfly gal who gave an explanation of the butterfly house. She said it was her first day but you sure couldnβt tell. Liberty you crushed it!

Lovely gardens, well kept and quiet. I loved the butterfly enclosure, so many pretty flowers and butterflies, the keeper gave us a lot of informations about the different kinds of butterflies and let us feed them. There are bathrooms and a small gift shop. Perfect place to bring kids or walk and relax

We had a great time at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens, especially during the Scarecrows in the Gardens exhibition. The scarecrows were creative and fun to findβour kids loved spotting their favorites along the paths. The gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and very family-friendly. There's a dedicated childrenβs area, wide open paths, and plenty of space to explore without feeling crowded. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the day. Itβs a perfect spot for a calm, outdoor family outingβespecially during seasonal events like this one!
